Connection is Power!!! Yes, as the phrase says…. In today’s world Power surely can be defined in the terms of connectivity. The life of people now has an addition to the basic necessities Food, Shelter, Clothing and the addition is connectivity. People need to stay connected with each other and for that, they require high-speed connectivity mediums. Wireless routers are of key importance.

Today we are going to review the Best Wi-Fi Router 2018 TP-Link AC1750 wireless Wi-Fi router. As its tagline says The Next Generation Wi-Fi. It promises to give 3X faster speeds than the regular routers. The basic question that arises is what makes this router different from other Wi-Fi routers? What is the main reason for gaining a position as the Best Wi-Fi Router 2018? So, let’s get answers to these basic questions first then we will move on to the technical prospects of the topic.

Main Features of Wifi Router

The main feature that differentiates TP-Link AC1750 from other routers is its new Wi-Fi standard 802.11ac. The 802.11ac also called the 5g Wi-Fi is the fifth generation of Wi-Fi technology. 802.11ac promises to provide 3 times faster speed than its predecessor 802.11n. It gives a combined wireless data transfer rate of up to 1.75 Gbps.

And when I say Combined it should have given you the Clue of its Second Great Feature, its dual bands for data transfer. Yes, it provides the users two bands for data transfer: The Crystal Clear 5Ghz band and a Regular 2.4Ghz band. With 1300 Mbps wireless speeds over Crystal Clear 5Ghz band and 450 Mbps over the Regular 2.4 GHz band it will surely satisfy all your bandwidth needs. The Dual Band will offer you flexibility over two dedicated Networks, the 5Ghz band for High Bandwidth intensive tasks like Online gaming and HD streaming and the 2.4Ghz band for simple tasks like sending emails and web browsing, all of these can be accomplished simultaneously.

The Next lead feature of the Best Wi-Fi Router 2018 is its External Antennas. The Router has 3 detachable external Dual Band Antennas which allow you to maintain high speeds even at longer distances. These antennas will assure the reliability of the network and coverage over your large home or office.

The Pros don’t stop here another good feature of the TP-Link AC1750 is the dual functional USB 2.0 ports. These two USB ports provide a separate individual connection for sharing media devices and media server or storage sharing.

No Major Cons stand out but the only worth mentioning will be limited wireless settings and it's decent but not so good UI but that too can be overcome with the Tether app which will give you Full control over the Wi-Fi network.

As we can see the Pros to Cons comparison we can say that the TP-Link AC1750 will surely stand as the Best Wi-Fi Router 2018 amongst all the competitors.

Conclusion: The TP-Link AC1750 wireless Wi-Fi router also called as the Archer C7 will be a superior choice for all bandwidth-intensive tasks like online gaming or HD streaming and also for day to day regular use like Emails and Web Browsing.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC Unveiled, Mi 7 by Xiomi First Announced Snapdragon

Posted by Suhel Sayyad
Qualcomm at its second annual Snapdragon Technology Summit on Tuesday in Hawaii announced the Snapdragon 845 SoC as its next top-end mobile processor. The new chip is designed to power a range of next-generation Android flagships that will debut in 2018. Xiaomi is the first to announce a smartphone with the processor - the Mi 7 - while companies like LG and Samsung can be expected to use the processor in their flagships next year. Windows 10 notebooks that would be based on ARM architecture are also likely to be based on the new chip.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 845

Alex Katouzian, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Mobile for Qualcomm Technologies, stated at the annual event that Snapdragon 845 will be the successor to the Snapdragon 835 that was unveiled at CES 2017 in January. The chip will include the latest X20 LTE modem that offers gigabit connectivity on supported networks. Additionally, it will be developed in partnership with Samsung Foundry.
"As the foundry partner for the Snapdragon 845 mobile platform, we look forward to our continued collaboration," said Dr. ES Jung, president and general manager - foundry business, Samsung Electronics, in a press statement.
Dr. Jung highlighted that his team at Samsung Foundry are working on reducing power consumption and increasing performance in process technology. Both these initiatives would help Qualcomm market Snapdragon 845 as an advanced option for premium mobile devices.
Xiaomi's Lei Jun also joined the stage at the annual summit to announce a "close relationship" with Qualcomm. Jun, Xiaomi founder and CEO, confirmed that the next flagship Mi smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 845. "Xiaomi is committed to making devices that combine cutting-edge innovations in technology and beautiful design while defying price expectations, and we have chosen Snapdragon 845 to power our next flagship smartphone," stated Jun. CNET reports that Jun also confirmed the name.
LG also came in the news for developing the LG G7 flagship with the new Qualcomm chip. The South Korean company hasn't yet revealed any formal details, though.
Some early reports claimed that Qualcomm is set to use a 7nm manufacturing process for designing the Snapdragon 845. However, considering various software- and hardware-level advancements required to support a smaller semiconductor technology, the new chip likely would retain the 10nm node that was debuted with the Snapdragon 835. Qualcomm may reduce the die size of the upcoming processor to a bit to give space to other components. Also, there are speculations that the new chip would have better power efficiency over its predecessor to deliver an enhanced battery life on newer hardware.
Specifications and features of Snapdragon 845 are expected to be announced on Wednesday itself. But devices with the new chip are not likely to be unveiled until January 2018.
